Adult Education
Junta collaborates with New Haven County organizations to offer adult education courses that empower individuals to improve their language skills and build financial knowledge — fostering greater independence and resilience within our community.
📚 ESL - English As A Second Language
ESL classes are free for New Haven residents, making them accessible to those who need them most. Students begin with an in-person assessment to determine placement in one of two levels: Survival or Intermediate.
Classes are available both in-person and online via Zoom, with morning and evening sessions to accommodate diverse schedules.

💰 Financial Literacy
Through our financial literacy program, Junta provides community members with the essential skills to manage personal finances, build savings, and navigate financial systems with confidence.
Courses are offered in collaboration with New Haven partner organizations and are designed to be practical, accessible, and bilingual.

Legal & Immigration Rights
In today's climate, knowing your rights is more important than ever. Junta provides bilingual legal guidance and immigration rights education to New Haven County's Hispanic and immigrant communities — with dignity and confidentiality at every step.
We hosted 8 Know Your Rights workshops in 2025 alone, ensuring our neighbors have the knowledge to protect themselves and their families.
