WHAT WE DO

360 Social Services

Comprehensive, bilingual case management advocating for and empowering individuals and families in New Haven County's Hispanic and immigrant communities — helping people navigate barriers, access critical resources, and build long-term stability.

OUR APPROACH

Bilingual Support

Junta's 360 Social Services help individuals and families navigate complex systems and access critical social services. Our experienced team provides one-on-one support connecting participants with State, Federal, and community-based assistance programs that address immediate needs while fostering long-term economic and personal growth.

By bridging language and cultural barriers, we ensure every individual receives the support they need to build a stronger, more self-sufficient future. All services are free of charge, delivered by bilingual staff in English and Spanish, with additional languages available upon request.

⚖️

Legal Services

Free immigrant rights guidance, tenant rights support, and legal navigation provided bilingually — with dignity and confidentiality. Know Your Rights workshops held year-round.

🍎

Weekly Food Pantry Access

Assisting New Haven County with food insecurity. SNAP enrollment support and connections to community food sources and partner pantries. Accepts shelf-stable food donations during business hours or on Saturday mornings.

🍼

Diaper Bank

Diaper distribution for families with young children. Over 17,000 diapers distributed — supporting parents through critical early moments and reducing the financial strain of childcare essentials.

🏥

Healthcare Navigation

Help connecting to Medicaid, HUSKY, and community health centers for individuals and families without insurance coverage. We remove the barriers so our community can access the care they deserve.

💼

Benefits Navigation

Assistance applying for SNAP, TANF/SAGA, SSI, Social Security Disability (SSD), housing assistance, child care assistance, and utility programs — navigating complex systems so our community doesn't have to do it alone.

📝

Case Management

One-on-one bilingual case management creating personalized, holistic plans for stability and long-term self-sufficiency. Our experienced team walks alongside participants every step of the way.

👶

Family Support

Parenting resources, early childhood connections, and wraparound support for families with young children navigating complex systems. Referrals to partner organizations for unique or specialized needs.

🌱

Community Health Outreach

Cancer awareness, health screenings, wellness workshops, mental health support, and connections to preventative care throughout the year — because healthy families build stronger communities.

📱

Digital Literacy Support

Helping community members with assistance acquiring a free cell phone and navigating online services, government portals, or telehealth — increasingly critical for accessing benefits.

We Adapt to What Our Community Needs

Our programs exist because our community asked for them. Junta has responded to everything from Hurricane Katrina to COVID-19 — and we're always ready to adapt.
