Junta collaborates with several New Haven organizations to offer Adult Education courses, including English as a Second Language (ESL) and Financial Literacy.

 

These programs provide students with opportunities to enhance their English proficiency and gain essential skills for managing personal finances.

ESL classes are free for New Haven residents, making them accessible to those who need them most. Students begin with an in-person assessment to determine placement in one of two levels: Survival or Intermediate. Classes are available both in-person and online via Zoom, with morning and evening sessions to accommodate diverse schedules.

Through these offerings, Junta empowers individuals to improve their language skills and build financial knowledge, fostering greater independence and resilience within our community.
