NEW HAVEN — The Peabody Museum of Natural History, 170 Whitney Ave., will host ¡Fiesta Latina!, a daylong event celebrating Latin American cultures, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
¡Fiesta Latina! will include the following activities:
• A Latin American cooking demonstration by Arturo Franco-Comacho, owner of the New Haven restaurant Roomba.
• Capoeria and Afro-Brazilian dance with Efraim Silva and Ginga Brasileira.
• Latin, Haitian and West African music by Mikata.
• Storytelling, mask-making and face painting.
• A discussion of the Peabody exhibit, "Machu Picchu: Unveiling the Mystery of the Incas."
